What does beta ( 5 year monthly) mean in company statistics, expressed in %?

Hi Piyah
Beta is a way to measure stock's volatility and academics used to measure risk. If the reading is more than 1, then the stock is more volatile than the broader market and if it is less than 1, then it is less volatile. For us, volatility isn't a risk if we know how to exploit it. We used historical low yield and high yield to measure this.
