Hi,
I am currently on the topic "Determine Entry & Exit Price". When calculating the historical dividend yield, am I correct to say that as we review the historical price chart, we pick specific crucial points in time on the chart to calculate the dividend yield? "Crucial points in time" would mean major events like September 11, 2001 attack, Iraq 2003 war, Global Financial Crisis 2008, and the peak price and trough (bottom) price for that particular year?
Also I wanted to try the same exercise and match the video, but on Yahoo Finance Singapore, I cannot seem to retrieve the historical prices of super group ltd to download. Any where else I can get this historical data for super group?
Also where do I get the full year dividend history for super? Is it https://www.dividends.sg/view/D05 ? This link is for DBS, but can't seem to find Super Group, it looks to have been de-listed.
Thank you

Hello Sean
You're right as these moments of the history (i.e. 08/09, Covid) often give us the best price for entry. Sometimes a crisis can be contained only in a particular sector from time to time. Also, remember to check the historical share price over the last ten years. From here, we can often see the multiple peaks and trough and those are the points that we can check it out too.
Super Group has been privatised and delisted, so it isn't possible to find those data. You can pick other companies that are listed and try it out? Once you're done, can post your answer here and I can check it for you!
