Hi, Rusmin,
What is your view of Nestle Malaysia at its current price? what could be the cause of its weakening price?
Thank you.

Hi May,
Nestle Malaysia's share price was too high to begin with based on dividend yields. The company also suffered from consumer boycott because of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Some consumers also apparently trade down to other or cheaper alternatives (The Edge) because of inflation. The company was also hurt by high raw material prices (e.g. coffee). The company hasn't released its FY2024 results and final dividend yet, it looks like their net profit and dividend per share are going to drop further based on 9M2024 results.
