Context: I've just watched the video Dividend Machines > REITs Management > Management What’s the difference between placement, preferential offering and rights issue? why is preferential offering prefered if it still requires you to put down money?

Hi Ben Less discount. If you're not intending to take up or have no money to take up, it will be less dilutive. Most importantly, good acquisition via preferential offering will have growth in DPU, even without any subscription.
