Hi TFP,
Any thoughts on the recent hit in Nestle share prices? I remember that Nestle shares used to be examples or models while talking about dividend investing/value investing. Now that prices have taken a hit, is it still a stock worth taking a look at?

Hi fer,
I don't see any changes to Nestle's business or fundamentals. The dividend per share was quite consistent although it went down a bit because of COVID-19 in the past few years and higher raw material prices. In the recent quarter, the company's sales and profit were down. Consumer sentiment in Malaysia was not so good because of inflation, so they traded down from Nestle products to something else cheaper.
It's a good time to take a closer look at this company, add it to your watchlist and check their historical high and low yields. Hope it helps. :)
