Frequently Asked Questions
What is Dividend Machines?
Why should I invest for dividends?
Investing for capital gains is a great way to make investment returns. The only problem is you don’t know when your assets will realize their full value. It might take 3-5 years before you see a return on investment.
When you invest for income, you see your returns immediately in the form of dividends. You don’t have to wait years to see tangible results. You receive a stable 5-10% yield or more every single year. Some stocks even distribute dividends every three months.
You are also less affected by stock price movements because you’re not invested for capital gains. As long as you continue to hold your stock, you will always receive your dividends on time year after year. In fact, when prices drop, you might even want to invest more as your dividend yield increases!
Does income investing really work?
Yes! Besides the certainty of receiving a stable yield every year, dividend stocks tend to outperform the market in general.
Ned Davis Research conducted a study to discover the returns of $10,000 invested in the S&P 500 according to dividend policy from 1972 to 2013. The results revealed that dividend stocks outperformed non-dividend stocks by more than four times!
In a similar study, they also found that 42% of the annual total return of the S&P 500 between 1926 through 2013 was actually derived from the payment and reinvestment of dividends. Income investing is a great way to grow your wealth and income at the same time!

I'm already a member of the Investment Quadrant. How is Dividend Machines different?
The Investment Quadrant focuses on value-growth strategies and investing for capital gains. It is suitable for people who seek higher returns investing in growth stocks. Of course, higher returns also means higher volatility.
Dividend Machines focuses on dividend strategies and investing for income. It is suitable for people who want a regular source of income from their investments now, while enjoying the steady growth of dividend stocks over the years.
Both strategies are not exclusive to each other; you can marry both approaches in your overall stock portfolio according to your investment goals and priorities.
