For OCBC net asset value per share information, there are "Before valuation surplus" and "After valuation surplus " in the financial report. Which should be used for P/B calculation?

Hi Zun Yang,
Before valuation surplus will be more conservative.
Thanks. What is the definition of valuation surplus?
It could be their investment stakes in Great Eastern and properties. Surplus refers to the valuation excess between cost value and market value of their investments. So if we refer to NAV before valuation surplus, the NAV will be less volatile and more conservative.
Thanks
