Am currently using Tiger brokers for my US stocks and it doesn’t seem to be able to access the Malaysian market.
Have always wanted to try interactive broker but it seems interactive broker can’t access Malaysian markets too.
Is interactive broker able to trade in both Malaysia and Singapore? If no which broker should I use? Thanks!
Hi Rusmin, thank you! Would you recommend using banks like ocbc securities which offer investing in malaysian exchange?
Is the fees cheaper than FSMOne? Are there any hidden fees like custodian, dividend handling fees? These are few things you may want to check. Also the foreign exchange rate, etc. You can compare them and see which one is more appealing for you 🙂
Hi Rusmin, noted, thank you for the quick reply. If you don’t mind me asking, which broker are you using for malaysian stocks as i went through the fifth person article on this and there are so many to choose from and i saw on an old question that you are using Maybank. Thank you!
Maybank was a good alternative then but the rate may be different now. FSMOne should be cost-effective since they are considered low-cost broker. I will suggest comparing them before signing up. Sometimes you may like the interface or service from certain platform as well.
Noted, thank you very much
