Hi, Can recap again why JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LTD (J36) had a negative net income for FY2024? Thanks.

Hi Brandon It is due to fair value losses. Jardine owns a bunch of commercial properties in H via HKLand. HK is going through turbulent times since riot started in 2019. The fair value loss is paper loss and shouldn't affect their underlying income.
